How long does the legal process with AIMA take?

What are the basic requirements for Portuguese citizenship?
Ten years of legal residence (7 for CPLP and EU nationals, under the reform effective 19 May 2026), basic Portuguese at A2 level, and a clean criminal record. What is the difference between Standard and Express NIF?
Processing time. Standard takes 3 to 7 business days, Express is completed within 1 business day. Both include permanent tax representation at no additional cost.
Do I need to renew tax representation annually?
No. Our tax representation is permanent with no annual renewal fee. Once you have a Portuguese address, you can remove the need for a representative entirely.
What types of companies can I register?
Most commonly a Unipessoal LDA (single-member) or LDA (limited liability). We help you choose the right structure during consultation.
What is included in the company registration package?
